Police Release Photo of Christina Grimmie’s Killer Moments Before Her Death

iHeartRadio Music Festival's Tribute to Christina Grimmie Brings Tears to Our Eyes
The 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival paid a touching tribute to the late Christina Grimmie.

Months after Christina Grimmie’s horrifying murder, The Orlando Police Department has finally released new photos of the crime scene, including one of her killer watching her concert just moments before murdering her.

In the photo, Kevin James Loibl, the 27-year-old crazed fan who took Christina’s life, can be seen standing in the back of the crown wearing a flannel shirt and black baseball cap inside The Plaza Live that fateful night.

As previously reported, soon after the show, Loibl joined the fan Meet & Greet line only to shoot Christina at point blank range when it was his turn. The singer’s brother Marcus Grimmie tackled Loibl seconds after he shot Christina, but Loibl managed to take out a second gun and shot himself on the scene.

“I looked, and she [Christina] was on the floor and I just remember screaming bloody murder and jumping on him, then hitting him,” Marcus told the Orlando Sentinel in a recent interview.

Other photos show Loibl’s concert ticket detective found at the scene, as well as a drawstring backpack he left at his hotel packed with a hunting knife, bullets and toiletries.
