‘Flip or Flop’ Will Likely End in 2017

Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa’s show HGTV show Flip or Flop will probably end in the new year.

A source tells E! News there are episodes of the three-year-old series that will be filmed in 2016 in order to fulfill contractual obligations, but “the show will end after that.” The couple said that they decided to separate in order to evaluate “the future of our marriage,” but will continue to make it work while filming Flip or Flop. “During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” Christina and Tarek told E! News of their separation. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.”

HGTV offered their support as a network as well, telling E! in a statement, “We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s  great work on Flip or Flop. When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children. HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled.”

Police were called after Christina saw Tarek run outside with a handgun from their safe. He was quickly found by authorities in a helicopter who ordered him to drop his weapon. The incident report read,”Tarek did not make any threatening statements to her and he did not make any comments about hurting himself or anyone else. She also denied that Tarek had ever been suicidal.”

TMZ reports that the couple owns a 50-foot, 33-ton 2015 Sea Ray Sundancer 510 yacht that’s docked in Newport Beach, CA. The tabloid reports that the boat is worth over one million dollars, which will constitute a big portion of their divorce settlement. They have previously posted pictures of their yacht on their Facebook account:
