Here’s How Robin Thicke Is Coping After the Death of His Father, Alan Thicke

Robin Thicke is trying to stay strong for his family following the death of his father, Alan Thicke.

The “Blurred Lines” singer has “really stepped up” in order to help arrange his father’s upcoming memorial service, especially since Alan’s wife Tanya Callau is reportedly “beside herself” with grief over the loss of her husband.

As previously reported, the beloved Growing Pains actor suffered a heart attack on Dec. 13 while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son, Carter.

“[Robin’s] realized that he has to be incredibly strong for his family right now,” a source told ET. “He is focused on honoring his dad, and making this easy on his family.”

“He’s planning a tribute to his dad and has been personally calling some of his dad’s Hollywood friends to get stories and quotes,” the source added. “He knows he has to be strong for his brothers and is focused on making this as easy for Carter as possible.”
