Beyoncé Sued for Using Roc-A-Fella Logo in ‘Drunk in Love’ Music Video
Beyoncé used the famous Roc-A-Fella logo without the permission of the man who allegedly created it.
TMZ reports Dwayne Walker is suing Beyoncé for flashing the logo in her “Drunk in Love” music video three years ago. According to Walker, Beyoncé never asked him for permission to use the logo and now wants the singer to break him off a piece of the profits.
According to the legal documents, Walker claims to own the rights to the original Roc-A-Fella logo. The logo is not heavily featured in the video and is only briefly seen hanging from Jay Z’s chain, although he is not named in the lawsuit.
Walker sued the rapper over the logo earlier this year for $7 million but lost.
