Nick Cannon Underwent ‘Five Blood Transfusions’ During Hospital Stay for Lupus
Nick Cannon is finally home after spending two weeks at the hospital.
The America’s Got Talent host announced he was off bedrest in a new video shared on his Instagram, revealing that he had undergone “five blood transfusions” before leaving Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
“I am healed! Ain’t no hospital bed that can hold me,” he said, which was filmed in front of a soundboard. “Straight from the hospital bed to the studio.”
“Honestly, I feel great,” he continued. “This is no pity party. We’re back at it again.”
Echoing the same sentiments from his last health update, Cannon promised fans that he’ll be working on new music and comedy projects in the upcoming year.
As previously reported, Cannon was admitted into the hospital before Christmas for complications stemming from his battle against Lupus. He spent the holidays undergoing treatment.
