Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher to Have a Joint Funeral

Celebrities Mourn Carrie Fisher
Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, George Lucas and more react to Carrie Fisher's passing.

Late mother-and-daughter duo Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher will be laid to rest in a joint funeral service, according to Todd Fisher.

He confirmed the plans to New York Daily News, telling the publication, “It’s what we want to do, but we’re still working on the mechanics.”

“I’m going out right now to look at places,” he said. “We like the idea, if it’s at all possible. I think it’s appropriate.”

Todd was with Debbie on Wednesday (Dec. 28, 2016) making funeral arrangements for his sister Carrie, who passed away the day before, when the Singin’ in the Rain actress suffered a stroke and died at the age of 84. After announcing his mother’s passing, Todd revealed that her last words were, “I want to be with Carrie.”

As previously reported, Carrie, 60, died on Tuesday (Dec. 27, 2016) just four days following a massive heart attack.
