George Michael’s Cause of Death ‘Inconclusive’ Following Autopsy

George Michael’s official cause of death is still unknown, according to authorities.

An autopsy performed four days after the music icon’s death proved to be “inconclusive.” A statement from the Thames Valley Police read that “further tests will now be carried out” and “the results of the tests are unlikely to be known for several weeks.”

Michael was found dead in his Oxfordshire home by his longtime boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz, on Christmas Day. He was 53.

The late singer’s manager, Michael Lippman, told The Hollywood Reporter that there was “no foul play whatsoever” in regards to the death and that Michael passed away “peacefully” of a heart failure.
