The night before Donald Trump was inaugurated into office as the 45th President of the United States, celebrities including Alec Baldwin, Shailene Woodley, and Robert De Niro assembled in New York to rally against Trump’s presidency.
Such reactions of opposition from celebrity figures were echoed on Twitter during and after Trump’s inaugural ceremony on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. Furthermore, Ashton Kutcher started trending because so many people were tweeting in hopes that this Inauguration Day was a large-scale episode of Punk’d.
