Brace Yourselves: ‘My Super Sweet 16′ Is Returning to MTV

Paging Hilary Duff — this is not a drill — My Super Sweet 16 is returning to MTV.

Entertainment Weekly first reported that the network released a casting notice asking for both young men and women that are celebrating lavish coming-of-age events (including debutante balls, quinceañeras, etc.) to come forth for the reality show’s new edition. The email from the casting company Doron Ofir reads “If it’s going to be lit, we want to know about it!

My Super Sweet 16 ran for 61 episodes beginning in 2005 and featured cultural treasures including Sean Kingston, Teyana Taylor, and Jennifer Lawrence’s scream.
