Perry tells E! News that their split is not a breakup; “it’s a shift in the direction of our lives.”
“I hate to say the romantic relationship is over,” says Perry. “We’re definitely extremely good friends.We do things together. We care about each other a great deal and as far as romantic relationships, that’s temporarily been put on the back burner because she, as you probably know, has rededicated herself to activism. We definitely have a great deal of love for each other.”
Perry says that it’s plausible that they might a way back to each other sometime in the future.
“I would say that there’s always a possibility that her life will change,” he continued. “At the moment we’ve been leading two separate lives, but we still find time to do dinner once a week, watch movies, stuff like that.”
The couple put their 7,100-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion on the market for $13 million. The home features four bedrooms, six-and-half-bathrooms, a meditation garden, and a home gym.
Fonda finalized her divorce from Ted Turner in 2012. That same year, Fonda and Perry purchased their mansion for $7.3 million.
