Thanks to President Trump, We Now Have This Social Media Feud Between Azealia Banks and Rihanna
Banks, who has previously expressed her support for President Trump and is banned from Twitter due to her offensive activity, shared her opinion on Rihanna’s statement in the caption of a now-deleted post on Instagram. This is what it said, according to People:
“As far as rihanna (who isn’t a citizen, and can’t vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir the public, you lot really REALLY need to shut up and sit down. Stop chastising the president. It’s stupid and pathetic to watch. All of these confused people confuse other confused people. Hoping the president fails is like getting on an airplane and hoping the pilot crashes. What makes you think, the the USA is going to enter the Middle East destroy a bunch of shit and pull out without any real repercussions????”
In response, Rihanna posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “the face you make when you a immigrant 🇧🇧 #stayawayfromthechickens #iheartnuggets #saveourhens,” referencing Banks’ ritual of sacrificing chickens in her closet.
Banks came swinging back with a now-deleted photo on Instagram coupled with the caption, “I GREW UP PLAYING SOCCER IN A DIRT YARD WITH A COCONUT AND OPEN MY LEGS FOR ANY AND EVERY MOTHERFUCKER WHO I THINK I CAN GET TO WRITE ME SONGS OR BUY ME DRUGS. I CAN BARELY PERFORM BECAUSE I LINE MY BROWN BLUNTS WITH CRYSTAL METH AND AM OFTEN VERY WINDED ON STAGE.”
Here’s Rihanna’s short response:
THEN, (we promise this is almost done), Banks shared Rihanna’s phone number in yet another deleted post on Instagram. Rihanna clapped back by changing her Twitter avatar to a screenshot of messages from Banks that accused her of being a drug and sex addict and revealed Banks’ number.
“I don’t have to do anything to you miss. Beyoncé is already working heavy on you,” wrote Banks.
They exchanged one round of these petty selfies:

But it seems that Banks has already moved on to more pressing matters and all we have left is the memories.

Banks provoked Rihanna last year on social media after the release of Rihanna’s eighth studio album, ANTI. According to Banks, she was supposed to be featured on a track that didn’t make the album and released a 90-second snippet of the song to prove it. Banks also criticized Rihanna’s music video for “Work” with Drake when it was released. Now let’s all take a nap.
