Kim Kardashian Testifies in Her Paris Robbery Case

Kim Kardashian has met with French authorities to testify in her robbery case.

The reality star reportedly sat down with a judge at a New York City hotel on Wednesday (Feb. 1, 2017) to give her account of the robbery that took place in her Paris hotel last October, where she was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint as thieves made off with approximately $10 million in jewelry.

Kardashian brought her two children to Manhattan. The family decided it was best for Kanye West to remain at home, TMZ reports.

In January, Paris police charged 10 suspects for the crime, including the brother of the limo driver Kardashian often used while she was in town. According to a verbal transcript of Kardashian’s account of the incident, which was published by French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche last month, the crime took place at 4:30 a.m. local time.

According to Kardashian, two hooded men wearing jackets that read “Police” entered her apartment. Speaking in French, the men took her Blackberry and asked where she kept her $4 million diamond ring. Kardashian said she told them she kept the jewelry on a bedside table after one of the men withdrew and pointed a weapon at her. After looking through her purse, the robbers reportedly tied Kardashian up with plastic ties, taped her mouth shut and placed her in the bathtub.

They’re going to shoot me in the back. There’s no way out,” Kardashian later recalled in a preview clip for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “It makes me so upset to think about it.”
