Nicki Minaj Accuses Giuseppe Zanotti of Being a Racist

Hell hath no fury like Nicki Monaj scorned. Case in point: Her latest feud with shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti.

The “Black Barbie” rapper took to Twitter on Friday (Feb. 3, 2017) to blast the 59-year-old for allegedly screening her calls. Despite having several sneakers from Zanotti’s past collections named after her, Minaj claimed the Italian fashion icon totally ignored her when she approached him for a collaboration.

She wrote in a series of tweets:

Minaj further accused Zanotti, who just recently launched a limited-time collection with Jennifer Lopez, for not working with her simply because she’s a black woman. 

In the past, Zanotti teamed with with celebrities like Zayn Malik and Kanye West.

Just hours after Minaj publicly slammed Zanotti, the hashtag #GiuseppeWhatsGood — a reference to the time the rapper called out Miley Cyrus on live TV — began trending worldwide on Twitter. The 34-year-old since started retweeting memes about her feud baring the same hashtag.

Minaj later added on her Instagram, “Dear @giuseppezanottidesign #RunMeMyCHECK your PR must’ve fell & bumped their head when they told my agency they weren’t discussing anything with us. I’m giving you 24 hours. #GiuseppeWhatsGood 23 pairs of sneakers in my collection & they won’t take a call?”

All Giuseppe Zanotti shoes featuring the distinctive spelling of Minaj’s first name have now been removed from the company’s website.
