Forget Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Keeping Up with the Kattarshians is what you want to be watching these days.
That’s right, there’s actually a reality show about cats. Created by Inga Lind Karlsdóttir in partnership with with the Icelandic Cat Protection Society, the reality series follows four kittens — Guðni, Ronja, Briet, and Stubbur — living together in an oversized dollhouse rigged with cameras. Viewers can check in on the livestream, or sit back and enjoy short clips of kitties doing adorable things. (Spoiler alert: Everything they do is so freakin’ cute!)
“It took about a year to put together, because we wanted all the animal welfare authorities to approve it,” the series’ creator told Vice’s Broadly. “And here we are, a year later, with the first reality TV show starring kittens. All the people who were laughing then aren’t laughing now.”
According to Karlsdóttir, the original stars have since been adopted and a new feline cast will be introduced soon.
