As Kylie Jenner Reveals a New Line of Highlighters, Kanye West Pursues a Cosmetics Brand of His Own

Kylie Jenner might have some friendly competition in the cosmetics department if her brother-in-law Kanye West pulls through with his latest business venture.

According to TMZ, West filed legal documents declaring his intention to launch a line of makeup, lotions and other cosmetics under his DONDA brand, which is named after his late mother, Donda West. Sources tell the tabloid that his application for a cosmetics line is only being processed at the moment in case he decides to move forward with the plan.

Meanwhile, Kylie announced on Snapchat that she will be adding highlighters to her Kylie Cosmetics roster. There are six food-inspired shades — Chocolate Cherry (rose), Strawberry Shortcake (peony pink), Cotton Candy Cream (blush), Salted Caramel (sand), French Vanilla (cream) and Banana Split (gold).

The highlighters will launch (and likely sell out) on Feb. 28, 2017, at 3 p.m. PST on KylieCosmetics.com.
