The interview was primarily dedicated to discussing Remy’s time in prison, where she says she learned about empowering other women instead of tearing them down, but the rapper snuck in a few words about her beef with Minaj. In case you need a refresher, Remy recently released a 6-minute diss track called “Shether” that attacked Minaj based on her alleged behind-the-scenes tactics used to undermine Remy and her career.
Of this feud, Remy told the hosts of Another Round, “I think [women] work so much better when we work together. However, in the event that you piss me off and we become arch enemies, run for cover.”
Despite the heated words, Remy says the back-and-forth between her and Minaj has reached its limit.
“It’s over. If she wants to say something that’s cool,” Remy added.
TMZ reports that Minaj is done addressing the matter, too. She’s focusing on public engagements at Paris Fashion Week, tracks with future and Gucci Mane, and her new app. Sources add that Remy’s accusations are being exposed as lies by Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, and others on Minaj’s team.
