Taylor Swift’s Stalker Arrested for Breaking Into Her Apartment Building
This is one man Taylor Swift can’t seem to shake off.
An obsessed fan by the name of Mohammed Jaffar has been taken into custody he was found lurk around her apartment building in New York City this week. Page Six is reporting that the 29-year-old has been showing up unannounced to the singer’s luxury condo for the past three months, demanding to have a sit-down meeting with Swift.
Legal documents claim Jaffar once broke into the building and was captured on surveillance footage lurking outside Swift’s penthouse apartment door, allegedly ringing the buzzer for an hour straight. He was also caught lurking on her roof this February.
The court papers further accuses Jaffar of bombarding Swift’s management with over 50 calls between Jan. 27 and Feb. 16 demanding to speak with the 27-year-old songstress.
Jaffar was arrested on Monday (March 6, 2017) on stalking and burglary charges. He is being held on $20,000 bond.
A judge has signed off on a protection order against Jaffar to bar him from any contact with Swift.
