Fans Are Pissed That Kylie Jenner’s Cosmetics Company Is Sending Them Empty Makeup Boxes
Kylie Jenner’s makeup company has let down its customers once again.
Some people are calling out Kylie Cosmetics for poor quality control after they were sent boxes of Jenner’s newly released line of $22 highlighters — aptly called Kylighters — without the actual product inside. In photos and videos shared online, customers opening up their packages to find a cardboard compact sans color palette.

While customer service has yet to explain the missing product, they have been reaching out and contacting those who have been complaining about the snafu on social media.
“I guess if you get enough retweets and likes they’ll send you a new kylighter…?” one user muses on Twitter.

Makeup artist Jeffree Star critiques that one of the Kylighters, a peach-colored illuminating powder called Cotton Candy Cream, was poorly labeled with a clear sticker in his review of the collection.
“I’m not sure if they finished the packaging on time or what happened,” he says. “I remember Kylie Snapchatting this in particular and she said, ‘Oh, this is like a lab sample or one that was made for me to take home.’ But they’re shipping them out with the label glued on the top.”
He also notes that press kits containing samples were not sent to bloggers for review prior to the Kylighters’ release date.
“So good or bad, I love hearing your feedback,” Jenner previously wrote in a message addressing criticism of her makeup line. “Love you guys more than you know. I’m always listening.”
