Mama June Shannon: I'm Bisexual
The 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' star says she's attracted to men and women.

Mama June Shannon is a changed woman.

The reality star, whose drastic weight loss has been documented on We TV’s Mama June: From Not to Hot, dropped nearly 300 lbs. since appearing on the show.

Having spent upwards spent upwards of $75,000 to have gastric sleeve surgery, a breast augmentation and skin removal surgery, where a combined total of 9 lbs. of excess skin was removed, the 37-year-old is now vowing to never go back to her old ways again.

“I can promise you I’m never going back to that size,” Shannon, who weighed 460 lbs. at her heaviest, tells People. “I’m happy where I’m at.”

Though Shannon has revamped her lifestyle to include healthier food decisions, exercise and portion control, she admits she still indulges in her favorite foods like barbecue and Mexican food once in a while. However, she notes, everything must be done in moderation.

“I’m not going to lie to you: I have thrown up, because you can’t over eat with the gastric sleeve,” she shares. “That’s not a thing that I recommend to somebody. You realize what you can and can’t do, and when you do it that one time, you don’t do it again.”

In the upcoming finale of the show, Shannon comes face-to-face with ex Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, whose remarriage inspired her to get in shape. According to the mom-of-four, dropping from a size 24 to a size 4 before the wedding was crucial so Sugar Bear could see just how much she’s changed and moved on from their broken relationship.
