Khloé Kardashian Says She’d Accept Tristan Thompson’s Marriage Proposal

Khloé Kardashian expressed some pretty heavy sentiments about her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.

In a cover interview with ES Magazine, the Good American businesswoman spoke candidly about her relationships with Thompson and her family as they all move forward after a tumultuous year. Of Thompson, Kardashian said that she would say ‘yes’ if he asked for her hand in marriage. She added that she’d “love to have a family” and that she’s discussed the possibility of doing so with the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player.

“We’ve talked about it. He [already] is a father, and I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father,” said Khloé.” I definitely want to be a mom. But I don’t put the pressure on it. It’s not like, ‘the clock is ticking’. I feel in my soul it will happen.’

Khloé also opened up about how her relationship with Caitlyn Jenner has evolved ever since the I Am Cait star began her transition from male to female.

“I think people misconstrued my reaction when Bruce [then] told us about the situation. It’s not that I’m angry that Bruce was transitioning to Caitlyn,” Khloé said. “[I was upset because] I didn’t appreciate how it was handled and how we found out more in the media than from Cait. But you know what? There’s no handbook to all that. I don’t know what she’s going through and I don’t know how anyone is supposed to handle that situation; I feel for Kendall and Kylie.”

As for the Kardashian’s trying year — between Kim’s armed robbery in Paris to Kanye West’s mental breakdown —Khloé said that the family stands taller than ever.

“With every tragedy or traumatic experience that happens to our family, we become stronger,” she said.
