TLC’s Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes May Have Predicted Her Own Death
Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes had a premonition about her death days before she was killed in a car accident.
The TLC singer, who passed away 15 years ago today (Apr. 25, 2017) from a fatal car accident, believed she was being followed by the spirit of a boy from a pervious crash.
As documented in 2007’s The Last Days of Left Eye, the 30-year-old was riding in a car in the Honduras when a small boy ran in front of her vehicle. Lopes thought the child — also named Lopes and shared the same shoe size as the 30-year-old — was haunting her after he died. Via Hip Hop My Way:
Throughout the documentary, Lisa and her friends were being driven around by an assistant. One day a small boy ran in front of the vehicle and was hit; he passed away that same day. Lisa believed that the boy was the spirit haunting her.
Just days later, Lisa lost control while driving and got in an accident that involved 7 people. She was the only one who died.
