Kylie Jenner Receives Emergency Treatment for Altitude Sickness
Kylie Jenner suffered a medical emergency on Tuesday (May 9, 2017) after landing in Cusco, Peru.
Upon her arrival in South America, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had to seek treatment for altitude sickness. In a series of Snapchat videos shared on the 19-year-old account, Jenner was seen with an oxygen mask as she spoke to a daughter from her bed.
Clad in a red tracksuit, Jenner worked on her breathing techniques with pal Jordyn Woods and a doctor.
“At this altitude of 11,000 feet above sea level, you can feel nauseous, have headaches, feel like you’re having the worst hangover ever,” Jenner’s doctor said in another clip. “Kylie’s getting oxygen so she’ll feel better.”
Jenner also reportedly visited a hospital in Lima with Kris Jenner on behalf of Smile Train. The mother-and-daughter duo were in town on behalf of the non-profit organization to meet children waiting to get surgery for cleft lip or palate.
