Brad Pitt: ‘I’m Not Suicidal’
Brad Pitt is just fine, thank you very much.
Despite rumors suggesting he may still be struggling to cope with his divorce with Angelina Jolie, the War Machine actor insists he’s doing well “keeping the ship afloat” and “figuring out the new configuration of our family” during the difficult time.
“I’ve got no secrets. I’ve got nothing to hide,” he told the Associated Press. “We’re human and I find the human condition very interesting. If we’re not talking about it, then we’re not getting better.”
“I’m not suicidal or something,” Pitt assured, laughing. “There’s still much beauty in the world and a lot of love. And a lot of love to be given. It’s all right. It’s just life.”
For the 53-year-old, his top priority is making sure his six children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne — are cared for. After all, he says, “kids are everything.”
“Kids are your life,” he explains. “They’re taking all the focus, as they should anyway.”
