Ben Affleck Would Love to Direct Jennifer Garner in a Film

Ben Affleck is still willing to work with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner on a female-led film.

In an interview with People about his participation in Red Nose Day, Affleck was asked if he would direct a film with a female-driven cast.

“I would love to, are you kidding me?” he stated. “I think that would be great. I’ve often said that I want to direct a movie that Jennifer was in because I think she’s so great and she could do something really cool.”

There is one thing that’s stopping this from happening, though.

“The problem that gets in the way is that one of us has to be looking after the kids at home,” Affleck added.

Affleck and Garner officially filed for divorce last month after separating two years ago. Affleck is living alone, but his and Garner’s top priority is amicably co-parenting their children.

“They want to be sure the kids are comfortable,” an inside source told People. “He’s moving fairly close by and it’s all in step with what they’ve always said was the most important thing: their children.”
