Khloé Kardashian “Fake Tried” to Get Pregnant When She Was Married to Lamar Odom

Khloé Kardashian pretended she wanted to have a baby during her marriage to Lamar Odom.

In a preview for the upcoming season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Revenge Body host admitted she had “faked tried” to get pregnant when she was still with her ex-husband. Though Lamar wanted to expand their family, Khloé didn’t think it was a good idea due to his drug problem — and half-heartedly underwent IVF treatments to appease the former NBA star.

“I was married, but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest,” she told her fertility doctor. “So, I just kept pretending I was doing it.”

“When I was doing my fertility treatments, they were more so for Lamar,” she continued in her confessional. “I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage. I knew that it wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I’ve done a lot of covering up for him, like even when it made me look like I was the problem. But I was fine taking on that burden on my shoulders because he had a lot of other deeper sh*t to deal with.”

Last year, Khloé revealed she thought a baby would save her marriage to Lamar and stop him from fooling around with other women. Now having divorced the basketball player, Khloé said she was relieved they ended up not having any kids together.

“I was like, ‘Oh, I’ve got to have a baby!’ That’s all I wanted at the time, and I thought it would maybe fix the situation,” she said on her now-defunct talk show, Kocktails with Khloé. “I was 27, and I thought, ‘A baby will fix this,’ and it’s not going to fix that.”
