Kim Kardashian on Caitlyn Jenner Feud: “It’ll Work Out”

Though they’re still not talking, Kim Kardashian believes she’ll eventually make amends with Caitlyn Jenner.

The reality star recently opened up about the ongoing family drama surrounding the Olympic medalist’s tell-all memoir, which depicted Kris Jenner in a negative light and accused the momager of “hoarding” money. While appearing on The View in a pre-taped interview, the 36-year-old said things between members of their famous clan will resolve itself.

“In our family, we definitely are always so close and stick through everything. Everything is definitely going to be fine,” she told the co-hosts. “We’re just taking a breather. We’ll get it together. We have siblings. It’ll work out.”

Kim also added she’ll never sever ties with Caitlyn. Despite having not spoken in the “last couple months,” the mom-of-two said the 67-year-old Olympian will always remain a part of her life.

“I don’t want to discredit her feelings or her account,” she said of Caitlyn’s accusations. “She’ll always be my stepdad and always be a person who raised me and taught me so much in life. [She] really stepped up to the plate, took over for my dad when he passed away, and I’ll never forget what Caitlyn instilled in us kids and was part of who I am today.”

As for her own personal struggles, Kim confessed she still struggles with negative criticism and backlash from time to time. “I have thick skin and this isn’t for everyone. I can see why people get hurt and are bothered by it. I do break down at times,” she admitted. “I’m just like it’s not okay for people to say these awful things. For people to have all this keyboard courage to say the craziest things about you is okay and it’s not okay.”

Since her traumatizing Paris robbery, Kim realized the importance of staying strong for her family. She shared, “That was something that was why I was like, ‘Okay, I need to take a step back. I need to take a step back from social media, from opinions. I don’t care, the truth will come out. I’m home with my babies. I’m safe.’”
