Kourtney Kardashian’s Morning Diet Leads Today’s Star Sightings
It’s no secret Kourtney Kardashian adheres to a strict healthy diet. Case in point: All the supplements she takes every morning.
The reality star, who was spotted working up a sweat at a dance class in Los Angeles Friday (June 23, 2017), recently revealed she ingests collagen everyday before breakfast to “reduce cellulite, wrinkles, fine lines and keeps skin, hair, teeth and nails health.” In a post shared on her app, the 38-year-old broke down her morning routine — which included taking five different vitamin and supplements before her first meal of the day.
According to Kourtney, she starts the day off with collagen peptides from Vital Proteins. She also mixes five drops of collagen generator into a glass of water.
“I mix this collagen with water and take it on an empty stomach first thing every morning. Collagen protein will make you feel full and is effective in balancing insulin levels—which can help avoid sugar crashes,” she wrote. “As you get older, your body produces less collagen, so adding this supplement can help naturally promote the production of collagen in existing cells.”
As for vitamins, the mom-of-three loads up before eating anything.
“I take a vitamin C liquid on an empty stomach if I feel like I’m getting sick,” she shared. “I also take this B vitamin supplement that is a combination of essential vitamins (like B6, folic acid and biotin) to provide anti-aging and mood balancing benefits.”
To wash everything down, Kourtney chugs a concussion of apple cider vinegar and water 15 minutes after taking her daily supplements.
“Apple cider vinegar has a million benefits, one of the most important is that it helps your body absorb nutrients more efficiently,” she explained. “I don’t eat until after my workout—about two hours or so after waking up.”
