Kourtney Kardashian isn’t going to be hungover after her Fourth of July weekend.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star recently took to her app to share her secret to avoid a major hangover after a night of hard partying. While she did toned down her drinking since having kids, the mom-of-three admitted to indulging in a little tequila once in a while on special occasions.

“I don’t drink alcohol often, but when I do my signature drink is tequila over ice with fresh lime. Sipping on pure tequila instead of mixing it in a cocktail will avoid unnecessary sugars that will leave you feeling hungover,” she wrote.

The 34-year-old recommended “100% agave tequila” because it has congeners than most cocktails, adding, “Moderation and drinking water throughout the night are also key!”

Recently, Kourtney also opened up about her detox diet that required her to fast one day out of the week.

“My doctor said one of the fastest ways to detox metals is to try to keep my body in a state of ketosis, which occurs when the glycogen in your liver is depleted and the body burns fatty acids for energy,” she shared on the blog. “To do this, I stick to a low-carb diet, with high proteins and healthy fats, and I eat 3 meals a day—with no snacking in between. Also, I don’t eat for 14 to 16 hours after dinner (known as intermittent fasting)—so if I have dinner at 6 p.m., I won’t have breakfast until 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. “

She continued, “I also do a 24-hour fast one day a week. On the fasting days, I drink bone broth and water all day, and then I’ll have dinner that evening. So I basically just don’t eat breakfast and lunch that day. I find it easiest to always do this on a very busy day, so I don’t have time sit around and wish I was eating.”
