Celine Dion Chokes Back Tears at First Concert After Las Vegas Shooting
Celine Dion got very emotional when she returned to the stage the first time since the Las Vegas shooting.
Addressing the crowd during her concert on The Strip, the singer admitted to fans it was difficult to perform just two days after gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire at Route 91 Harvest festival attendees from his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
The singer offered concertgoers at Caesars Palace Tuesday night words of comfort, while admitting it was a difficult decision about whether to even go on with the show.
Then she made an emotional announcement about how she, and her fans, will assist the families of the victims from Sunday’s shooting that killed 59 people and injured more than 500.
