Why Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Won’t Put Their Kids in Show Business Leads Today’s Star Sightings

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of Hollywood’s powerhouse couples, but don’t expect them to bring their kids into the fold.

Despite being the picture perfect couple, the two — who are proud parents to James, 3, and Ines, 19 months — are hoping their daughters will never have to grow up in front of the camera. Why?

“Mostly because I’m against child abuse,” Ryan joked during his latest appearance on Good Morning America. “Show business, for a little kid, that’s a crazy pursuit.”

“Acting is great,” the 41-year-old clarified. “Theater school, that kind of [thing] — amazing. I don’t know why you would put your kid in show business.”

However, he was completely fine with his firstborn appearing on pal Taylor Swift’s Reputation track, “Gorgeous.” After all, as he put it, “I don’t know if she knows she’s in a Taylor Swift song.”

“It was a voice memo that ended up in a song. It’s pretty amazing,” he explained how how his daughter’s voice ended up on the love song. The actor jokingly added, “My daughter’s had a really, really terrible ego problem now after that song came out. She’s insufferable.”
