L.A. trainer Shaun Spencer, who works with Basketball Wives of LA star Jackie Christie, tells his clients to make lean meats such as fish and chicken the main focus of your diet, because they are easy to digest easily and won’t weigh you down. Sorry meat lovers, but Spencer also tells his clients to cut back on steak and pork because of their high fat content. Vegetarian? No problem. Spencer tells his vegetarian clients to make beans and legumes a mainstay of their diet. “These are very lean and provide a great source of protein,” Spencer says.
