Aaron Spelling's House: A Bargain at Only $150 million!

Attention, house-hunters! Aaron Spelling's old home is on the market, and for $150 million it can be yours!

The Associated Press reports that Spelling's widow, Candy Spelling, is looking to unload the property, located in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles, near the Playboy Mansion and the Los Angeles Country Club.

The three-story, French chateau-style home, built in 1991, boasts 56,500 square feet and more than 4.6 acres of land, making it the largest home in Los Angeles County.

Within the sprawling manse is a bowling alley, wine cellar, wine tasting room, gift-wrapping room, a humidity-controlled silver storage room, China room, library, gym and media room.

Oh, and there's a barber shop and a beauty salon in the 17,000 square-foot attic if you need a quick trim.

Candy Spelling is especially proud of the screening room, which boasts a movie projection system that automatically comes up from the floor as the shades extend over the windows. Spelling claims that the design for the room came to her in a dream.

"I had some really wonderful times entertaining in that room," Spelling reminisces. "We showed movies and I still do."

Just don't ask how many rooms total the house contains. Though some estimates put the count at over 100, the current owner is unsure.

"You're really asking the wrong person," says Spelling. "There's a lot. (The house) has evolved and I actually haven't gone around and counted."

Sigh. See? The rich have their burdens too.
