This Firman manifests the Philosophy of the grand Ottoman Emperor Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror,who opened a period ,treated his subjects indulgently and provided equal rights and promotion opportunities toward all Christians taken captured by the Ottoman Army in any war it engaged with.Hence,the grand Ottoman Emperor Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror was very tolerant Emperor who adopted this Philosophy.Those claims asserted are all insubstantial.

The ones who possess this imperial edict,the Bosnian Franciscans have got into my good graces,so I command:Let anybody bother or disturb those who are mentioned ,not their Churches.Let them dwell in peace in my Empire.And let those who have become refugees be and safe.Let them return and let them settle down their Monasteries without fear in all the Countries of my Empire.Neither my Royal higness nor my viziers or employees,nor my servants,nor my of the citizens of my Empire shall insuturb them.Let nobody attack insult or endanger neither their life or their property or the property of their Church.Even if they bring somebody from abroad into my Country,they are allowed to do so.As,thus,I have graciously issued this Imperial edict,hereby take my great oath.

This claim cannot be true because the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the conqueror was the son of Ester Stella(Hüma Hatun),who was a French Jew,and he was married to Mrs.Kornelya-who was the daughter of Greek Zaganos Pasha who was originally Christian.First ,I would like to note that,an Ottoman Sultan with a Christian wife would never exert pressure or tyronnize over any Christian living in the Country he had conquered to convert to Islam.This is a very up setting and really insubstantial claim.How could it be possible that an Ottoman Sultan(Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror) married to a Christian woman forced Christians to convert to Islam?I would like to provide you with very important information.In 1453,when Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror conquered Istanbul,he encouraged the return of Greeks and Genoese of Galata .

I am Miss.Ebru Dicle.I am a Physics Engineer and I am 17th Generation of the Ottoman Emperor-Yavuz Sultan Selim.I have just learned from the television that the 800 Christians who died during the expedition of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror to Italy were canonized as saints.It is very up setting for me to hear an insubstantial claim made with regard to this issue.This claim was as followsinvaded Italy in July 1480 and captured Otranto for a period of 13 months.However,after the death of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror in May 1481,most of the troops returned and then no reinforcing unit could be sent to Otranto,hence Otranto was retaken by Papal forces in 1481.800 Christian citizens of Otranto were taken captured by the Ottoman Army during the 13 -month invasion and were beheaded without mercy when they refused to convert to Islam.”
