Is Adam Lambert Gonna Get Kiss-ed?
Coming soon to a stadium near you—Kiss and Adam Lambert?
Extra reports that the American Idol runner-up—who performed a medley with Gene Simmons and company during AI‘s season finale—is mulling an offer from the band to hit the road with them.
“Adam was fantastic. What a powerful and attractive man he is,” raves Kiss bassist/singer Simmons. “He can come on tour whenever he’d like. Of course he’d have to put his armor on because the fans, especially the Kiss fans, take no prisoners. You gotta go big. Gotta be strong. You gotta be a rock, baby!”
And what does Lambert have to say about the opportunity? “That would be amazing…I would love that,” Lambert gushes. “That’d be such an honor. I had so much fun. To perform with Kiss, I would love that.”
At the very least, they could share each other’s makeup.

I’d go see them, but I think it would be a mistake. They’re old and tired. However, if it was Queen, that might be a different story.

OMG! Adam is so amazing I’ll go anywhere to hear him sing. If he wants to sing with Kiss, cool. But he can pack a venue on his own. He can sing circles around ANYBODY (& should have won AI, hello.)
After watching Adam sing Beth, I know that he can do anything he wants. Good for Kiss for knowing real talent and offering him this asume opportunity.

I reckon Lambert could replace Paul Rodgers for a night too! You need a soaring voice like Adam’s to even come *close* to pulling off a Freddie song

I would see Adam Lambert in anything! We have a great venue here just north of Houston (near IAH Bush) where Kiss performed a couple of years back. The outdoor amphitheater at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion has been remodeled after damage by Hurricane Ike and is even better than before. What a thrill it would be to have Lambert perform there! Y’all come on down! I DON’T really recommend July and August, unless you’re good with hot weather survival skills. After all, it is TEXAS.
