Adam Lambert: Kara DioGuardi "Was Just Being Honest"
Adam Lambert is reportedly going to clear the air about his sexuality when he appears on the cover of Rolling Stone, but he offered a pretty significant clue to Celebuzz over the weekend.
Celebuzz caught up with the American Idol runner-up at the Young Hollywood Awards in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday. Among other things, Lambert was asked about Kara DioGuardi's recent supposed outing of the singer as gay in the media.
"I don't think that Adam was ever in [the closet]," DioGuardi announced on The View late last month. "I think he was always openly out."
Asked if he was angered by DioGuardi's public discussion of his private life, Lambert was quick to dispel notions of ill-will.
"No," Lambert—who was presented the YH Aritst of the Year award by DioGuardi—said. "I mean they are asking the same questions everybody else was asking. Kara was just being honest. She is a great friend of mine."
Hmm; just being honest? Is that a de-facto admission that DioGuardi's assessment was correct? After all, who knows a person better than their "great friends."
