Adam Lambert’s Debut Album Is Already a Hit

Behold, the power of Adam Lambert!

The American Idol fave’s upcoming debut album won’t be available until November 24, but already it’s beating Madonna, the Beatles, and yes, even Susan Boyle on the charts.

The New York Post reports that, within hours of Lambert making his debut available for pre-order on Sunday, the album shot up to Number 2 on Amazon.com’s bestsellers list, behind only Barbra Streisand‘s new studio album.

Amazingly, the flurry of sales occurred without Lambert’s record label, RCA, announcing that the album was available for pre-order. Instead, word-of-mouth from Lambert fans on Twitter and message boards spread the news across the Internet like wildfire.

Looks like this kid just might have a future in the music business yet.
