Al Roker vs. Speidi: The Drama Continues!

It looks like it's not quite over in the battle between Al Roker and The Hills' favorite villains, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

The whole feud began on Monday's edition of the Today show, when Roker grilled Montag and Pratt about their performance on I'm a Celebrity...Get me Out of Here.

"There are those who say that you two are everything that's wrong with celebrity these days," Roker opined, before asking Montag, "Heidi, are you proud of all this? Of the way you guys behaved on the program?"

Montag went on to claim during an interview later in the day that getting the  third degree from Roker had made her cry. And this morning, E! Online reports, the drama spilled over into a second day on Today, when Roker attempted to clear the air on the brouhaha.

Former View co-hotess Meredith Viera read a transcript to Roker in which Pratt blustered, "[Roker's] lucky I was saved by Jesus, because a couple of weeks ago I probably would have ripped his head off for talking to my wife like that.' "

After which she asked the nationally beloved weatherman, "Are you proud?"

To which Roker shot back, ""Yes, I am. I believe I asked what a lot of people wanted to know and, if [Pratt] had tried to come across [and attack him], I would have dumped him like a bag of dirt."

Whoa; that certainly sounds like a challenge to us. Dare we hope for a Round Two in this whole fiasco? This time with fisticuffs?
