Ali Lohan Goes Trolling?

Ali Lohan might be worth something besides enabling mother Dina's runaway ego after all.

E! Online is reporting that Ali is the number-one pick to play the lead in a remake of the 1986 comedy-horror flick Troll.

No, not as the troll. As young heroine Eunice St. Clair, who battles baddie Torok the Troll with Harry Potter Jr. (no relation to J.K. Rowling's boy).

According to director John Carl Buechler, "[Ali's audition] was great. The camera loves her. She's a really good actress...I am personally going to fight for her."

Of course, if Ali shares the same work ethic as big sister Lindsay—who was famously excoriated by Morgan Creek CEO James G. Robinson for her wild days and prima donna ways—Buechler may regret that battle.

In the meantime, it's comforting to dream that she may soon be so busy that another season of Living Lohan won't be possible.

The only hurdle to the deal is finding a makeup artist skilled enough to make Ali look her actual age of 14, instead of 35.
