The family that plays together, stays together. The family that doesn't, complains about it to the media.

Britney Spears' cousin and one-time assistant, Alli Sims, tells the New York Post that she's still barred from contact with her famous kin, and it's causing her distress.

"I have no idea when I'll see her again. I miss her every day," Sims tells the paper.

Sims hasn't been in contact with Spears—who's recently been in New York to promote her new single, "Womanizer"—since Spears' father, Jamie Spears, took over as conservator for his daughter and decided to limit her contact with outside influences until she fully gets her act together.

"When her dad gained control, he put some rules down," Sims told the paper. "[I]t's just best for her to not communicate with a lot of people. My main concern is her being okay."

Be careful what you wish for, Alli; if some people have their way, you might soon be seeing a lot more of your cuz than you cared to.
