American Idol To Glee: “Ha Ha!”

It’s a battle of the gay-friendly TV shows. FOX has just announced that it will be putting the well-loved Glee on hold for a whopping four months to replace with American Idol after December 9.
Seriously? What the hell are we going to do for 16 weeks without Glee?!
In one corner, we have hotties like Mark Salling, Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, who bust out hilarious renditions of “Don’t Stop Believing,” “The Thong Song” and “Gold Digger” on a weekly basis.
Then, we’ve got Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell fighting for a chance to flirt with the next Adam Lambert wannabe on the American Idol stage.
Someone’s gonna pay for this.
Glee rules all! FOX CAN SUCK IT.

Thsi is absolutely ridiculous. FOX is making a huge mistake by not keeping Glee in the regular lineup. I mean, come on. Glee might not have ratings like Idol, but it’s one of the most talked about new shows and the songs from Glee sell really well on iTunes. Taking a break is fine, but a four month break is absolutly absurd, especially since they’re using to promote a hellish-sounding reality show. Maybe the reality show will bomb early on and they’ll move Glee up? This just really sucks and reminds me why I don’t like FOX.

I do wish they could show both. I don’t know what to think about Idol anymore… Is it rigged? Is it not? Before I didn’t care, because the people who are good go onto make music anyway. Regardless though, Adam is doing WAY better than… that dude that one. Really makes you wonder how many people ACTUALLY voted for that guy as winner, considering barely anyone bought his album. I know I didn’t think he should have made it near as far as he did.
