American Idol: Recap and Predictions

Apr 15, 2009 at 10:45am

American Idol went to the movies last night, with contestants performing tunes from films as director Quentin Tarantino looked on in unsettling judgment.

Allison Iraheta busted out Aerosmith‘s “Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” from Armageddon. Adam Lambert ripped into Steppenwolf‘s “Born to Be Wild” from the countercultural cinematic classic Easy Rider. Lil Rounds took her shot at the Bette Midler ballad “The Rose.”

And tonight, one of them will be ousted from the show.

Visit Gabby Babble for a comprehensive rundown on last night’s episode, as well as predictions on who’ll get the boot tonight. And have your say in the comments section: Do you agree with their assessment?

No need to wonder who Audrina Patridge is rooting for. The Hills brunette makes it abundantly clear on her official Web site that she’s behind her good buddy Lambert, and even asked her readers to vote for him last night.

Tell us in the comments: Did you vote for Lambert? If not, who are you hoping wins?
