Amy Winehouse: Cleaned Up For Court

Mar 17, 2009 at 8:14am

Amy Winehouse looked fairly presentable for a court date in London yesterday. And that’s saying something for her.

The beehived singer, looking almost refreshed (!?!) since returning from her extended stay on the island of St. Lucia, was there to answer to charges that she assaulted a woman who asked for a picture with her at a charity ball, according to the Daily Mail.

Winehouse pled “not guilty” to punching dancer Sherene Flash at the event last September.

Amy posed for pictures for the assembled paps and replied “I’m all right, thanks,” when asked how she was feeling.

She is out on unconditional bail, and her trial date is set for July 23.

Due to the assault charge, Winehouse has been denied a US Visa to perform at the upcoming Coachella Music Festival in California.
