The denizens of St. Lucia can breathe easy for the first time in months.

Amy Winehouse, 25, has left their island paradise and returned home to Britain.

The singer, who has been wreaking havoc vacationing on the island since December, posed for pics at London's Gatwick Airport yesterday.

Despite using a back exit to avoid the paps, Winehouse and her newly returned beehive struck a pose when she was discovered. She reportedly told photographers that she couldn't believe she was back in London, and didn't realize how much she had missed it.

Amy was said to have been given a tour of her new home on the outskirts of London by her dad Mitch yesterday.

Winehouse's estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil recently completed a prison term, and this is thought to be the major impetus to her returning, despite People reporting that he's intent on seeking a divorce from his songbird beauty.

And don't think Winehouse's stay in island tranquility has softened her rough edges.

She reportedly got into a loud argument with a fellow passenger on her flight home whom she felt was giving her "strange looks," according to the Sun.

"Amy went wild. She thought this guy was giving her strange looks and just lost it," a friend of the singer's reported.

    Again this artical is rubbish. Amy looks beautiful and I am possitive with all the nuts in the world I am sure that there was one on AMY's flight. SOO many people just don't like people who have fame. We luv ya AMY now find a real man that won't steal your $$$ Money
