Amy Winehouse cleaned up nicely as she left her London home to meet with lawyer Rock Tansey. And by nicely, that means she momentarily sidelined her stripper ambitions and swapped drugs for doctor's orders...but not without her usual defiant cigarette.
Perhaps the reason for the turnaround is that Amy's ever-stressed dad Mitch told the British press she's on the slow road to an early grave.
"My biggest fear is that she won't die of a drug overdose, it won't be that quick," Mitch Winehouse said. "A slow and painful death... would be the most likely scenario if she didn't check her behaviour, which she is doing."
It does look like she's eased up on the junk a bit. But who knows what's stashed in that Medusa weave.
"Perhaps as far as Amy is concerned, it's last chance saloon," dear old dad continued.
Great. Just when she appears to be making progress, you had to go and mention saloon.
