Amy Winehouse's Husband Nixes Rehab for Jail
Tonight is reporting that Jack Daniels champion drinker Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil has turned down a chance to lessen his 27-month incarceration by two months if he enters a drug rehab program.
The male half of one of the most trouble-plagued couples in Britain is serving a sentence for assault and trial fixing.
Fielder-Civil also reportedly decided against the early release idea because he would have to move in with his mother, have a 7 p.m. curfew and wear an electronic ID bracelet.
He is said to be "adamant" that he be allowed to move back in with his wife Amy in their crackhouse flat in Camden.
The UK Prison Service believes that Blake needs to be in a drug treatment program for fear that he would resume a life of drugs and crime after his release.
His wife is a prime example of healthy living, so who knows where they're getting these ideas from.
