Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated $100,000 Thursday to Global Action for Children. The grant will support community systems to care for abandoned children the world over.
The grant is necessary because the growing Jolie-Pitt family of eight can't be expected to adopt every kid around the globe who needs a home, as much as they might want to.
Brad and Angie have a history of helping to fund the GAC. Their previous endowment of $1 million has brought relief and hope to a lot of children who might otherwise have experienced neither.
Brad, 44, and the family have been working and playing in New Orleans for the past couple of weeks. When not helping families displaced by Hurricane Katrina, the father of six took time out to send a blunt message to the misguided paparazzi.
The Jolie-Pitts have reportedly spent money on another good cause recently, anger management classes for 33-year-old Angie. A source close to the power couple has divulged that Angelina's temper can lead to knives being thrown in anger.
Luckily, Angie knows she needs help and is seeking it. She still has as good a shot at sainthood as anyone in the Hollywood elite.
