Angelina Jolie’s Video for World Refugee Day

Jun 19, 2008 at 5:50pm

Between promoting her gun-slinging action flick Wanted and waiting for the twin babies that have the world’s media holding its collective breath, ardent philanthropist and weapons enthusiast Angelina Jolie has filmed a public service announcement for World Refugee Day on June 20.

The glowing and swollen actress also plans to publish an article in a major U.S. newspaper to tie-in with international efforts to recognize the plight of the human masses who have been displaced and damaged by armed conflict.

Jolie sums up the message of the day by saying, “For those who have survived and for those who did not, we are thinking of you on this day.”

Then she killed one to save a thousand.
