Well, Raffaello may have another bitter pill to swallow if early reviews of Anne’s latest flick, Rachel Getting Married, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival, prove to be true.
According to Reuters, Hathaway’s pained and nuanced role as a drug addict who ditches rehab to attend her sister’s wedding has Oscar predictions echoing along the Venice canals.
Maybe when she’s accepting her golden statute in front of the Academy and the world, Anne will thank Raffaello for the inspiration his betrayal gave her.
