It's been tough times for The Devil Wears Prada beauty Anne Hathaway.
During the past few months, the ravishing brunette has been saddled with promoting the mildly idiotic Get Smart remake and conferring with the FBI about how to break up with her "all taker, no giver" boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri.
Well, Raffaello may have another bitter pill to swallow if early reviews of Anne's latest flick, Rachel Getting Married, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival, prove to be true.
According to Reuters, Hathaway's pained and nuanced role as a drug addict who ditches rehab to attend her sister's wedding has Oscar predictions echoing along the Venice canals.
Maybe when she's accepting her golden statute in front of the Academy and the world, Anne will thank Raffaello for the inspiration his betrayal gave her.
