Anne Hathaway's Villain Ex Blames Her for His Crimes

TMZ reports that Raffaello Follieri is using his ex-girlfriend, Get Smart actress Anne Hathaway, as the excuse for his crimes.

In court documents filed prior to his October 23 sentencing, Follieri claims that he committed money laundering and wire fraud because he was "surrounded by movie stars and celebrities and this young man who neither drinks nor smokes became intoxicated with it all."

Follieri's defense is that he was trying to keep up with the lifestyle that Anne was accustomed to.

The documents say that Raffaello, who pled guilty in September, "succumbed to temptation" and that he had "good intentions."

Anne's beautiful and everything but did Raff really need to involve the Vatican?
