Anne Heche Expecting Another Baby From the Heavens
Us reports that formerly lesbian actress Anne Heche‘s reps have revealed that she is pregnant with her Men In Trees co-star and boyfriend James Tupper‘s baby. It is their first child together.
Heche, 39, is known for being one of the more eccentric actresses in Hollywood. She met Tupper, 43, in 2006 on the set of their now cancelled ABC sitcom, while still married to ex-husband Coley Laffoon.
“They are thrilled,” Heche’s rep reports on the mental state of the parents-to-be.
Heche filed for divorce from Laffoon in February of 2007 and is engaged in a vicious settlement battle with him in which claims of Internet porn, infidelity, and bankruptcy have been hurled by both camps. They have a six-year-old son, Homer, together and the dissolution of their marriage has not yet been finalized.
Heche was once primarily known for her much publicized lesbian relationship with Ellen DeGeneres. That pairing ended after Heche took up with Laffoon—who was a cameraman on a documentary Heche directed about DeGeneres.
The wacky didn’t stop there. After her split from DeGeneres in 2000, Heche reportedly overdosed on Ecstasy and went wandering around the California countryside. She was found by a suburban family, who reported that she was claiming to be a goddess named “Celestia” and waiting for an arriving spaceship.
Heche later wrote a book, Call Me Crazy, about her experiences.
Please don’t name the kid “Celestia,” Anne.
